Pink Skunk Clownfish

15.00

It is easy to understand the name of the Pink Skunk Clownfish because of the white skunk like band that runs from nose to tail on the dorsal (upper) part of the body. Two other species of clownfish belonging to the “skunk complex” have this feature including the Skunk Clownfish (Amphiprion akallopisos) and the Orange Skunk Clownfish (Amphiprion akallopisos). An easy way to identify the Pink Skunk Clownfish from these other species is the white vertical bar on each side of the head. Neither the Skunk Clownfish nor the Orange Skunk Clownfish have head bars. The Pink Skunk Clownfish is one of the smallest species in the clownfish family. It is hardy and also very peaceful.
